Hello everyone, first of all I would like to thank this English course. It was very important for me because I was able to practice my English with my friends and with myself. However, I still have a hard time speaking English. Before entering university, I did not have much knowledge about English. My school was not bilingual and there was only a weekly English class. It is for this reason that my English before entering the university was very bad. At school I did not write much in English or speak less, I only remember that I studied for tests and that my results were not positive. In this year I feel that I have been able to learn much more about speaking English, last year I already did this blog exercise and it went pretty well for me. My goal this year in English was to learn to read and speak English. I think that compared to last year, this year I learned a lot more because the teacher is better. Professor Alvaro Garcia is the best English teacher I have ever had

Hello friends !! Today I am going to write about my curricular mesh, sociology had a different mesh two years ago, since I entered, last year, I changed the mesh, to a much more practical one. I really like the new mesh, because it forces us to leave the faculty and to learn by doing. the professors are almost the same as before except for a specific branch of economy, which has been completely changed, the new professors are very young and friendly, they explain a lot of economics and in general the operation of the market. In the other subjects we have the same teachers, all well known and good. My schedule is a little tiring, since I have classes every day and apart I must train fencing. I arrive at the university in the morning and I return to my house very late, anyway I like it. the subject that I liked the most was the history of latin america with professor ruiz, in general it helped to get out of boring history and taught us to analyze history in a more complex way

Hi! Today I am going to talk about my postgraduate studies intention. Nowadays, we have more opportunities to study in the university, and as more young people be accepted in the university, find work is more difficult and study postgraduate studies is more necessary. I study sociology and I would like study something with sociology and social science because in chile, is not a very studied topic, and in general , the universities doesn’t have a documents, researches or information about sports a social science. The sport in chile, is in a good period, and the athletes need more science , the sport is more than physical activity, is a place to learn social regulations, is a form to teach manners. The sociology of sport is a broad subject, and find a postgraduate in chile about this subject is difficult, but I was see a postgraduate study abroad ,in gales about “etic and sports”, I would like study full time course, because learn in social scients is different, is nece

Hi friends! I am student of the university of Chile in the social sciences faculty , and we had a sit-in by women and dissents for two month. For me is difficult talk about this subject because I do not know a lot of feminism, but in spite of this, the protest did a lot in mi mind and in my family. I am a man and I have a lot of privileges for my condition. One year ago I was a fresh man, and I did not question myself about this topic, after this I thought about my privileges and i have to change a lot of attitudes, I do not do things with bad intention but even though they hurt. My family is a non-conventional family, because my parents are separated since ever, and they have a bad relationship, my mom lives in coyhaique and my dad lives in Valdivia, but both were very aware with the topic. Claudia is a psychologist and is part of my family, is the girlfriend of my dad since fifteen years ago, and she prepare a lot of conversations in home, with my father, my brot

Hello there!!! Good afternoon classmates! I am in the second year of the college, studying sociology, and my career does not have institutionalized major, but in the practice, all the sociologists choose them research topics, well… I am not sure at this moment, that I will choose. I n my case, for to be honest, I have to say that I am so glad to study this career and one of the things most beautiful of the sociology, is that can to be combined with other disciplines and subject. When I will finish my career, I would like to work in sociological research about sports, but I noticed that is too specific, but with being able to help someone, I would be happy . I do not like the offices and I will imagine me in future like a men, that works in the field of sport. I will not imagine working in at office, I think, and I hope work outdoors. If I would have the opportunity to travel in my job, would be amazing, I love to travel to anywhere place, and in the competi
